Great competition at Thoresby Park

The ten entries across the two classes in the coaching marathon - three in the road coaches and seven in the private drags - enjoyed a dry and sunny drive through the Home Park before delighting a full crowd in the Castle Arena at Royal Windsor Horse Show.

First British National Carriagedriving event 2019 heads to Ashfields

​Ashfields Carriage and Polo club host the first British National Carriagedriving Event of 2019 this weekend from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th May. Ashfields expect to welcome drivers from around the country, including the top Horse Pair drivers aiming to make selection for the World Championships later on in 2019.

Royal Windsor Horse Show 2019

For the first time in its 76 year history, Royal Windsor Horse Show announced the appointment of three Royal Vice Presidents; HRH The Duke of York and TRHs The Earl and Countess of Wessex who will play a significant part in the event which takes place in the private grounds of Windsor Castle. They join HM The Queen, Patron of the Show, and its President HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.

Equine Extravaganza at the Beamish Museum

Horses, homecoming and hours of fun to be had… trot along to Beamish, The Living Museum of the North for the fantastic Horses at Work event, on 27th and 28th April. ​ Fifty horses will be in action around the museum, including pit ponies, carriage horses and heavy horses, ranging from Irish Draughts and Friesians to Shires and Clydesdales.
