When His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh died on 9th April 2021 the equestrian world lost a true friend.
The Duke was a pioneer of the sport of horse driving trials, having been influential in establishing the international rules and as a world class competitor.
His support, commitment and contribution to the world of carriage driving will be sorely missed.
Our thoughts are with Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family.
In the June/July issue of Carriage Driving we will celebrate and commemorate the Duke and will be sharing messages and tributes from across the carriage driving community. If you would like to share your memories, please send your words and images by completing our online form.
